A Mortdale man now has seven favourite numbers that he’ll never forget after they won him almost $60,000 in Keno.
The Sydney player held a Keno Classic Ways winning entry in game 757 on Friday 13 November 2020 and scored $58,377.60.
Confirming his win with an official from Keno this afternoon, the happy winner said it took days for the exciting news to sink in.
“I’ve been playing the same numbers for about seven years,” he began to explain.
“They are particularly special numbers, I just randomly picked numbers but they are certainly special to me now.
“I was in the club watching the draw when the game unfolded.
“I couldn’t believe it. It didn’t sink in until the next day.
“You just don’t expect that kind of win!”
When asked how he’d enjoy his Keno fun money, the Sydney man said it was the perfect nest egg.
“I’m going to put it in the bank for a rainy day,” he said.
“It will be great!”
The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning Keno Ways entry at St George Masonic Club, 86 Roberts Road, Mortdale.
St George Masonic Club CEO Paul O’Connor said he was excited for their latest Keno winner.
“It just shows that you have to be in it to win it,” he said.
“It’s great to see this big prize go to one of our regular patrons.
“Congratulations to him!”
